- Saturday, April 4, through Sunday, November 8, 2026, the exhibition will once again be open to the public at the Beguinage. For centuries, the Beguinage has been a place of peace, spirituality, solidarity, and entrepreneurship—and above all, a community of women. In the exhibition, visitors discover the many lives and stories that have taken shape there over the centuries. The exhibition continues to tell, in words and images, the historical story of the Bruges Beguinage through the lens of its five heritage values. Visitors will meet the women who shaped the history of the Beguinage. A notable new contribution comes from the DKO, which has compiled a new collection of artworks created by students as part of the 800th anniversary of the Beguinage. This gives the exhibition not only a historical dimension but also a contemporary and artistic one.

- With great passion, internationally renowned cathedral organist Ignace Michiels, together with his vocal ensemble De Wijngaard, will enrich 10 Eucharistic celebrations with festive sounds in Bruges Cathedral in 2026. While Ignace will make the mighty Klais organ shine with virtuoso sounds, Isabelle Dekeyser will expertly conduct the choir. Together, they will perform a rich repertoire of choral and organ works that will elevate the liturgy to a higher level. Be inspired by these beautiful choral and organ works and celebrate with us! This year is extra special: no fewer than three celebrations will be broadcast live on TV and radio to people's homes. A moment when the whole of Flanders will be watching our cathedral. We look forward to welcoming you live!

- AiR Biekorf 11.0: Dysencryption Arjan Vanmeenen Arjan Vanmeenen is the laureate of the biennial SANT competition, edition 2024. In addition to a generous cash prize, he also receives the title of house artist. Arjan presents a wall work that will stimulate throughout the season and is a result of his house artist residency. Dysencryption explores how meaning arises in a landscape of noise, abundance, and continuous stimulation. Through video, drawings, text, sound, and installations, the exhibition questions and rearranges various forms of (de)coding. The wall work 'CIC' (Cinematic Impression Concentrate) functions as a stream of mental impressions.
