BANQUET - Milan

Banquet Gallery is pleased to present Primitive Learning, the first solo exhibition by Filippo Sciascia at the gallery, marking the artist's official entry into the gallery's roster. The exhibition features a selection of significant works that trace one of the core directions of Sciascia's research: an inquiry into the origins of knowledge, visual perception, and the languages through which humans have sought to represent, understand, and transmit reality. Among the works on view is Cable Bacteria, a site-specific installation inspired by the natural microorganism capable of conducting electricity through filamentous structures. The piece embodies a model of collective intelligence embedded in nature, anticipating the principles of transmission and interconnection central to the digital age.
