    Ended 30 May 2026

  • Being Azul is a series of unique screenprints and mono screenprints by Glasgow-based artist Consuelo R. Servan exploring sensation, memory and the rhythms of summer. Drawing on personal recollections of the southern European sky, heat ( calor ) and water, the works reflect on the small rituals that shape summer days, breakfasts in the shade, early morning walks, siestas during the hottest hours ( cánicula ), and afternoons spent by the swimming pool beneath a clear blue sky. Prickly pear cactuses ( chumberas ), common throughout southern Spain, appear as a recurring motif.
