Expositions d'art moderne et contemporain à Knokke-Heist

De Brock is pleased to announce its second edition of “In Focus”, a new series of small exhibitions presenting three works by one artist in our front space. A completely self-taught artist, Julian Pace (https://www.debrockgallery.com/artists/julian-pace) 's world is populated by behemoths of art history, pop culture and sports. His distinct visual perspective and skillful figuration renders the work immediately recognizable. Building on his reputation for transforming familiar cultural symbols into objects of contemplation, Pace’s new body of work extends beyond mere likeness to evoke memory, fandom, and the collective language of sports. The presentation includes three paintings from Pace's ongoing "Formula One" car series, all painted in 2024.

Art is omnipresent in Knokke, and as many as nine local galleries annually participate at Brafa in Brussels. This connection forms the basis of Brafa Art Discovery, a new concept that guides art lovers through these nine enticing galleries. During the extended weekend of November 8th and 9th, participating galleries will present a unique selection of art. Visitors can follow a varied route through contemporary works, sculptures, and conceptual art. In short, an atmospheric preview of Brafa's 2026 edition.
