Galerie Kornfeld is pleased to present 'Mehr Licht', a solo exhibition by Christopher Lehmpfuhl. The exhibition will feature new works by the artist, showcasing his unique perspective on light and color. Lehmpfuhl's paintings are known for their vibrant hues and dynamic compositions, which capture the essence of natural phenomena such as sunsets and auroras. In 'Mehr Licht', Lehmpfuhl continues to explore the interplay between light and dark, creating luminous landscapes that seem to glow from within. The exhibition will include a series of large-scale paintings, as well as smaller works on paper, all of which demonstrate the artist's mastery of color and form. Christopher Lehmpfuhl was born in 1970 in Berlin, Germany. He studied at the Kunsthochschule Weißensee in Berlin and has since exhibited his work extensively both nationally and internationally. His paintings are held in numerous public and private collections, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Nationalgalerie in Berlin. The exhibition will be accompanied by a fully illustrated catalog with an essay by art historian Dr. Andrea B. Braidt. A public reception will take place on Sunday, 21 September from 4 to 7 pm.
