Museum JAN - Amstelveen
Naamgever en oprichter van het museum is de industrieel/verzamelaar Jan van der Togt (1905 – 1995). Hij was in zijn werkzame leven oprichter en directeur van de Tomado-fabriek (Van der To-gt Ma-ssaproducten Do-rdrecht). Het spreekwoordelijke Tomadorekje en talloos ander bekend huis-, tuin- en keukengerei van deze fabriek behoren inmiddels tot de inboedel van menig designcollectie.
