DOCUMENT is delighted to present Things change quickly, Luísa Jacinto’s first solo exhibition with the gallery, opening on November 11, 2025. Luísa Jacinto (b. 1984, Lisbon, Portugal) lives and works in Lisbon. Her artistic practice engages with the protocols of the image, narratives, fragmentation, and simulation, as well as the tension between excess evidence and obscuration. Jacinto uses different materials – rubber membrane, thread, fabric, metal, spray, watercolor, loose pigments – and supports, which establish an increasingly fluid boundary between painting, sculpture, and installation.

DOCUMENT Lisbon is pleased to present Language-like, a solo exhibition by Elizabeth Atterbury and the artist’s first in Portugal. Based in Portland, Maine, Atterbury creates sculptures in wood, clay, stone, and metal that echo everyday objects, alongside wall-based works made with meticulously raked mortar.

An exhibition featuring the works of Kiah Celeste and Gordon Hall, showcasing their unique perspectives on art and culture. The show will include a mix of installations, sculptures, and paintings that explore themes of identity, history, and the human experience.
